DM ONLY.... Looking for an artist willing to donate a backyard style show, could be a duo. Here's the details. It is a STARS auction/raffle fundraiser. Young fellow named Chris was helped out by STARS a number of years back. Unfortunately, even with the massive effort they provided, Chris did not make it. He left behind a lot of folks. For a number of years, his family has been fundraising for STARS through a golf tournament, CL88, that's Chris. With their fundraising efforts, the goal was Chris' name on a helicopter. That's now happening.
As an artist, donating a package to the raffle portion of the auction, we would look to an hour set, longer if agreed between those involved. It's a private show unless the winner deems otherwise, so would be a backyard style intimate show. Artist provides sound, shows up early, sets up, visits, does the set, tears down, visits. Maybe some merchandise for the winners, welcome to sell merch as well.
The dates are still in flux but... the CL88 Golf Tournament August 26. The package you put together and you can add to it if you like, will be raffle prior. It's a short windows till fall and cool weather, so we let the winner have a year to arrange it.
Last year Steve Newsome played this very event, raising $2200.
