Listening to the Land will be an immersive meditative event: Canadian made; County landscapes. On the screen will be the landscape photography of Jason Pettit (jasonpettit.com). Jason is an award winning photographer from the County. On the piano will be Nicholas Peat who has composed ‘Celtic Suite’ to accompany Jason’s photography.
It will provide an experience of wonder, stillness and rest.
Both artists will be present for a Q & A following the event.

In the Celtic Wheel of the Year, Imbolc is the first day of spring. Imbolc is Gaelic for ‘in the belly’. The Celtic Spiritual Tradition revolved around the seasons of the sun. Imbolc is the cross-quarter day between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox. Again, the Celts listened to the wisdom of the land. Among the invitations of this day is: what is transforming deep within your belly that is in keeping with what is transforming deep in the belly of the earth?

Listening to the Land will be an exquisite event; Canadian made; County landscapes; original Celtic Suite on the piano to accompany the landscape photography of Jason Pettit (jasonpettit.com). Meditative, beautiful, immersive, still.
