Hal-Con is an annual weekend event held in Halifax, Nova Scotia in Atlantic Canada and held at the end of fall. Originally showcasing comic books, games, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, and related popular arts. It has grown to encompasses the full-spectrum of geekdom, including Comic Books, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Gaming, Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Renaissance, Anime, and anything else

of the fantastical while still having enough appeal for even the most casual fan. We think it’s about time Hal-Con gets into the blind box game!

If there’s one thing that’s universal, it’s that the internet love mystery boxes, and unboxing videos. So we have partnered with Double Ghost Merch Co. for an exclusive pre-order mystery box which is going to be packed with a monsterous amount of never before seen Hal-Con merch!

The only way to get it though, is to preorder online alongside your Hal-Con tickets, because pick up will be ONLY at the Hal-Con merch booth during vendor hall hours. If you don’t have a ticket to the con, there’s no getting in to grab the box!

Sales start June 19th, and the mystery box order deadline is August 1st to make sure we hit production time.

Seven hours to go, and the boxes are limited, so if you really want one, don’t hesitate!

The countdown is ON! Earlybird tickets to Geekbounding: Cosplay and Cocktails on the Friday night of Hal-Con (Nov 6) go on sale this Friday alongside the con tickets!

$30 Earlybird tickets are limited, so grab yours quickly!

A few notes:
This event is 19+
You do NOT need a ticket to Hal-Con to attend.
The venue is accessible for the first half of the event. The second half moves up to the mezzanine, but we will also have a reserved table on the main floor.
There will be LIVE MUSIC starting at 9 PM
There will be a photobooth by Conrad the Designer
There will be light snacks provided and themed cocktails for purchase.
Geekbounding (nerdy glam) or cosplay encouraged but not required!

Snoochie Boochies Mother Huggers, look who’s on the pipeline this week!

Actor, filmmaker, and kickass skateboarder, Jason Lee is coming to Hal-Con 2026!

Probably best known for portraying Banky Edwards, Brodie Bruce, and demon Azrael in several Kevin Smith movies, he is also Earl Hickey himself in the titular titled My Name is Earl.
