CommunityVotes Halifax 2026 nominations are officially open!

We’ve been lucky enough to receive awards in a few categories over the past two years, and we’d love your support again this year. If you have a quick minute, we'd really appreciate a quick nomination before it moves on to the voting stage.

✨ Shine Across the Galaxy Update ✨

Since our last post, we've received several additional registrations, and we're so thankful to everyone who has registered and helped spread the word about our pageants!

While our numbers aren't quite where we had originally hoped, we've decided to move forward with BOTH pageants as planned. 🎉

Registration will remain open for a few more days, so if you've been thinking about joining us, there's still time! We'd love to welcome you to the Shine Across the Galaxy stage. ✨

Shine Across the Galaxy Pageants are landing in Riverview, New Brunswick and Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia this summer, and we're still welcoming participants to join the adventure. 🚀👑

Whether you're 2 or 102, brand new to pageantry or already love the stage, there's a place for you in our galaxy. ✨

We’ve had three additional registrations come in since Monday night, and we’re hopeful the upcoming Shine Across the Galaxy pageant dates won’t need to be postponed or cancelled. If everyone could help spread the word to family and friends who may be interested, and we can get a few more registrations for each date, we’ll be set for blast off! 🚀

We want to be completely transparent with everyone about where things currently stand for our Shine Across the Galaxy pageants.

At this point, we would need a handful of additional registrations in order to move forward with the events as planned. Registration was originally set to close tonight so we would have plenty of time for preparations, scheduling, and creating the best possible experience for everyone involved.

That said, we know there may still be families or participants considering joining us, so we are going to keep registration open for the next couple of days to allow a little extra time for anyone wanting to sneak in. ✨

We will reassess in a couple of days and keep everyone updated on whether we will be able to proceed as planned or if we may need to cancel one or both pageants. 💔

We truly appreciate all of the love, support, and excitement surrounding Shine Across the Galaxy, and we are hopeful we can make this happen together. 🌟
