Pride Edmonton put together a presentation highlighting the remarkable community impact we've helped generate across the Greater Edmonton Region, drawing on data from 2015–2025. We've grown from an average of 4 Pride events before 2021 to over 100 events each year.

We call it "A Model Unlike Any Other" — and the presentation explains why. Edmonton's approach stands apart from Pride celebrations around the world by prioritizing promotion over production: amplifying events created by community groups, businesses, and individuals to build a truly decentralized Pride ecosystem across Edmonton and the Greater Capital Region.

Pride Edmonton doesn't simply promote Pride — it enables it.
