⚠️ Our new board comes with a parental advisory: OPTIMIST CONTENT.

Following the Stormont Community Optimist Club may cause your kids to become caring, kind and generous. Side effects include helping neighbours, making new friends, volunteering and believing they can make a difference.

Joining the Junior Optimist Club may increase these symptoms. Expect more teamwork, growing confidence and a lifelong habit of giving back. Parents may experience these symptoms too.

Meet our new board, with Optimist Swine keeping us in line. We’re bringing out the best in kids, one good deed at a time. 😎🐷

This is what it's all about!

Supporting Our Wildcats!

The Stormont Community Optimist Club stopped in today at the Wildcats games at Joe St. Denis Field with a little something to show our support for an amazing program.

We were proud to present the Wildcats with a $5,000 cheque to help support everything they do for our kids and our community.
Programs like this don't happen without dedicated coaches, volunteers, families, sponsors and community organizations stepping up and investing in our youth.

The Stormont Community Optimist Club is proud to be part of that team.

$5,000 today is more than just a cheque — it's an investment in kids, teamwork, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
And here's the really important part: support like this is made possible because of our community events and the incredible support we receive from our community. Events like Cornwall Ribfest help us raise the funds that allow us to give back to programs like the Wildcats.

So when you come out to Ribfest, bring the family, enjoy some great food, have some fun and support our events — you're also helping us support our community and our kids.

That's what community is all about!

Keep up the amazing work, Wildcats! We're proud to support you!

As we start preparing for ribfest 2027, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of our wonderful 2026 sponsors. Ribfest would not have been possible without you.

We want to thank Long Sault Storage for their generous support of Cornwall Ribfest and the Stormont Community Optimist Club.

Events like Cornwall Ribfest require dedication by volunteers. We want to recognize and thank Cairo from Fresh 104.5 and Corus Radio for volunteering all 4 days of Ribfest 2026 to help with announcing everything Rifest on the stage along with Bill Hallman of the Happy Popcorn Co.

Thank you for giving of yourself to help others.
