Supporting Our Wildcats!
The Stormont Community Optimist Club stopped in today at the Wildcats games at Joe St. Denis Field with a little something to show our support for an amazing program.
We were proud to present the Wildcats with a $5,000 cheque to help support everything they do for our kids and our community.
Programs like this don't happen without dedicated coaches, volunteers, families, sponsors and community organizations stepping up and investing in our youth.
The Stormont Community Optimist Club is proud to be part of that team.
$5,000 today is more than just a cheque — it's an investment in kids, teamwork, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
And here's the really important part: support like this is made possible because of our community events and the incredible support we receive from our community. Events like Cornwall Ribfest help us raise the funds that allow us to give back to programs like the Wildcats.
So when you come out to Ribfest, bring the family, enjoy some great food, have some fun and support our events — you're also helping us support our community and our kids.
