A little nostalgia. A little winter magic. A little slower living.

The kind of winter that feels like the 90s. Snowy boots by the door, cookies cooling on the counter, cinnamon sticks in glass jars, paper chains draped across the room, dried oranges hanging in the windows and Christmas music playing in the background.

A difficult update about the 2026 Black Saddle Christmas Market🎄

It’s with a very heavy heart that we’re sharing that this year’s Black Saddle Christmas Market, originally planned for December 12th, is unfortunately cancelled.

We know how much this event means to our vendors, our local community, and the families who have made it part of their Christmas traditions.

We have been working with the Municipality of Callander regarding the requirements needed for the market to proceed, and unfortunately, we are not able to move forward with this year’s event. Our focus now is on working through the required municipal process so that we can hopefully bring the market back in 2027. We are committed to doing everything we can to make that happen.

To all of our vendors, shoppers, volunteers, families and community members who have supported this event over the years, thank you. Your support is a huge part of why we want to see this market return! Supporting local vendors, charities, and the community is the reason we do this.

Each year we look forward to collecting a SUV full of non perishables as well as money for the Callander Food Bank. Since we won’t be able to organize one at the Christmas market, we really encourage you to drop off some items there if you’re able.

Thank you for understanding, and thank you for believing in the Black Saddle Christmas Market.
