Yesterday, we lost a legend.

Joe Stockinger — better known to many as “Red Light Joe” — passed away at 96 years old after suffering a stroke.

Joe wasn’t just strong for his age. He was strong, period.
At 92 years old, weighing only 145lbs, he stepped up and deadlifted 440lbs for 3 reps — something most people half his age wouldn’t even attempt.

He held multiple records with Raw Powerlifting Canada and proved that strength has no age limit.

More than the numbers, Joe represented grit, consistency, and the mindset that you never stop showing up. He inspired lifters across generations just by walking into the gym.

Rest easy, Joe.
You earned every bit of respect that came your way.
The weights will feel a little heavier without you around. 💪
