Traralgon parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners and walkers of all standards!

Traralgon parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Agnes Brereton Park, Traralgon, VIC, Australia. Traralgon parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Well the weather gods were on our side over Halloween land where we saw 139 runners, joggers and walkers travel around the 5km course. Many were dressed up in the Halloween spirit or wore a touch of red in recognition of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. There were 4 PB's and 7 first timers.
Special thank you to our wonderful volunteers: Kaye Borgelt, Kerryn Doble, William Doble, Jayne Price, Liyin Weckmann, Jordan Hair, Allen Timmer-Arends. Mary Giddens and Eudora Walker.

Halloween meets Red at Traralgon parkrun!
Join us this Saturday 31 October, for a spooktacular Traralgon parkrun.
This Saturday is not only Halloween but we are also encouraging everyone to wear a touch of red in support of Daniel Morcombe Foundation, helping to raise awareness of child safety and the importance of keeping our children safe ❤️
It is Halloween so why not get into the spirit by dressing up in your favourite Halloween costume, add a spooky accessory or simply wear a touch of red.
See you all at the bridge at 7.50 am for a briefing before setting off on a spookily run, jog or walk.

We had a lucky morning at parkrun: just enough drizzle to keep us shiny, but not enough to wash away the smiles! A wonderful 145 participants joined our weekly ritual of walking, running and posing for the camera.

A warm welcome to our visitors from Hobart—we’re so glad you joined us. And a big thank-you to our fantastic volunteers, who made everything run as smoothly as a freshly polished stopwatch. Enjoy the great photos!

A special congratulations to Alan Macrae on completing an amazing 200 parkruns. That’s a lot of Saturday mornings well spent!

A reminder for next week: come dressed up for Halloween, or wear red for parkwalk for Daniel in support of the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.
