Traralgon parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Agnes Brereton Park, Traralgon, VIC, Australia. Traralgon parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians,

from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

Congratulations to the 134 people who completed Traralgon parkrun this morning. Luckily the rain held off (well apart from a few drops) and it was a great morning for all to enjoy. Thank you to our volunteers that made my morning very easy: Michael, Oliver, Anja, Andrew, David, Jane, Mark, Kate and Eudora. Photos have been posted and here is a summary of stats for you to enjoy. Good evening parkrunners, this Saturday we are looking for two more volunteers to fill the roles of Finish Tokens (filled) and Photographer. Please reach out if you are able to fill one of these roles, I promise you it is easy and I will happily provide you some guidance.

We will also be celebrating the Winter Solstice so feel free to come along in your pyjamas, oodies, onesies or anything else that represents winter to you.

I hope to see you all by the bridge for a 7:50am briefing before a 8:00am start.

Pacer Day is coming!

Have you been chasing a PB, aiming for a milestone time, or just wanting to keep a steady pace? Then our upcoming Pacer Day on July 18th is the perfect opportunity!
Our wonderful volunteer pacers will be out on the course to help guide you to achieve your target time. Whether you want to break a barrier, return to form or simply enjoy the support of running with others, there will be a Pace group for you!
Remember, pacers do their best to finish as close as possible to their nominated time, but the real magic comes from the encouragement, camaraderie and motivation that they bring along the way.
So start thinking about your goal, lace up those shoes and join us for a fantastic morning of running, walking, cheering and community spirit!
