After rolls of Geofab and about 180 ton of rock we’re getting close with our bush ride challenge obstacles. Hopefully it all settles firm in time for our challenge in November.
Breaking news also.
We have secured Rob Leach to do clinics the week leading up to our Challenge, then he is kindly donating his time to judge the cow horse and Campdraft sections of the challenge.
Keep an eye out for clinic openings in October.

Its back to the construction phase at
Byron Lodge EC. We have some surprises for our upcoming November Challenge. One added discipline this year will be a bush ride obstacle course.
Although the arena trained horses look great carrying themselves in frame on a circle or with their sliding stops, spins and flying changes, it has questionable real life practicality (this comment may stir some emotions 🫢)
The bush ride obstacle will be designed to showcase the horse that has been about in the real world, mustering, chasing brumbies up the bush or just trail riding. Happy to cross a bridge, jump a log, walk through water or navigate a log tangle.
So if your planning on taking home the cash at this year Byron Lodge Challenge 14th 15th November coz you got your spins and flys sorted, make sure you’ve got some experience outside of the square yard or it maybe a DNF for the bush ride obstacle.
I’ll keep you posted on our progression.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to all those that donated to our Cutout event on the weekend. With donations and the amazing generosity of the Yarram Laundry mat who matched the cutout total, plus the entry fees from the junior and juvenile events we are so very proud to announce that we raised $4820 for the Little Jem Foundation. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We were even luck enough to have a visit from The Easter Bunny and her best mate Little Chicken!!
They spread the love and the chocolate!!
