NOVEMBER WEATHER OUTLOOK 🌦️

The latest Bureau of Meteorology long-range outlook points to warmer-than-average conditions for Tasmania, with below-average rainfall more likely. Sheffield’s typical November averages are around 18°C by day and 8°C overnight — but weather beneath the mountain can change quickly.

What should you bring?
✅ Warm layers and a raincoat
✅ Hat and sunscreen
✅ Refillable water bottle
✅ Comfortable shoes
✅ Camping gear if you’re staying onsite
✅ Your best dancing feet!

We have officially sold out of Saturday DAY tickets! Woooooooo!

We are holding a small amount of capacity on Saturday for those who wish to purchase weekend tickets - meaning, we have just a handful of weekend tickets left. Jump in now if you haven't already.​

We are also sold out of POWERED campsites, although there are PLENTY of unpowered sites. (Who needs power anyway right?)

There are also still tickets for Friday night and also Sunday remaining. Friday night tickets are just $45, and all day Sunday is $92. Check out the program (if you haven't already) to make sure you know when and where your favourite artists are playing!

Our limiting factor is the capacity of the Sheffield Town Hall - and the fact that we know you all LOVE the intimacy of Mount Roland Folk Festival. There will be room for every ticket holder in the hall for our raging celtic dance party which has become a Mount Roland FF tradition. Both Saturday and Friday nights will COOK (as usual!) with sets from Rhiz and The Sugarplums, Pete Cornelius (Sat) and Apolline, followed by the traditional late night session.

Festival weekend is also a chance to explore the wonderful small businesses that make Sheffield special.

Between sets, take a wander through town and browse our galleries, gift shops, antiques, local produce and beautifully made Tasmanian treasures. While you’re there, keep an eye out for Sheffield’s famous murals.

Tasmania’s Pete Cornelius is a virtuosic guitarist, soulful vocalist and original songwriter whose sound blends heartfelt blues, funky grooves, soul and Americana.
