Endurance is more than just horse riding, and more than just a sport, it’s a community!

This community was very present at our annual Kentish ride this year, with many people volunteering and stepping in to assist our small committee to ensure a smooth & enjoyable event.
At our event, of particular notice, a few riders didn’t have the successful rides planned, rather than show their disappointment they stepped in and helped create a positive & smooth event for others.

Our 2025 event made a small profit (noting this would have been a loss if a third Veterinarian was organised). As a committee we have decided we will Pay it Forward, and have donated our 2025 ride profit towards Janine’s Recovery fund.

Get well Janine! We hope the contributions not only ease some of the financial pressures throughout your recovery, but also attest to our community genuinely wanting to support Halla & yourself through this hard time, we are your extended family.

Our friend Janine Parr had a serious accident at our latest endurance ride here in Tassie and wa… Carolyn Foley-jones needs your support for Janine's Recovery

Looks like that’s a wrap for the 2025 event!!
Well done Jean Treloar & helpers, all the track work, marking, set up and now it looks all packed up!!

The KEER committee is very low on people. If you enjoy this ride on the calendar, please consider joining our committee. We only have 2-3 meetings for the year, the key areas where assistance is required is preparing the track leading up to the event, being able to help on the day and packing up afterwards. We’d love to have some more people in the Sheffield or surrounding areas join our team!
Please reach out to Jean, Lydia or Karan Amanda and we can add you to our group ☺️
