Renmark parkrun Renmark parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run / walk put on by the community for the community at 8am ev The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Renmark parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful River Murray and get physically active in the process.

We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

Well done to the 55 parkrun legends who came out today! Thanks too for your patience with our new "wet path turnaround". Unfortunately, it turns out that our regular turnaround point can be quite slippery when wet, so we will use the grass area for future wet turnarounds. Thanks to todays volunteers - Jo, Di, Maryanne, Maddie, Michelle, , Sarah, Chris, John, Ben & Ken. Parkrun cannot run without volunteers, so we thank you for your efforts. We only need a Timekeeper for next Saturday, so if anyone can help out, that would be great. Cheers, Mitch.

Well, at least the rain held off for us! Congratulations to the nearly 50 people who came out this morning for another Renmark parkrun! As usual, a huge thanks must go to todays volunteers - Liz, Sally, Erin, Jenny, Greg, Michelle, John, Di & Peter. parkrun cannot run without volunteers, & we thank you for your efforts.
