Renmark parkrun Renmark parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run / walk put on by the community for the community at 8am ev The great thing is that you only ever need to do this once!

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Renmark parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy our beautiful River Murray and get physically active in the process. We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance by 6pm on the Friday before your first ever parkrun event. Then just set your alarm for Saturday morning and get yourself there!

Better late than never..... Well done to all who came out for another fantastic Renmark parkrun! As usual, parkrun wont happen without volunteers, so a huge thanks to this weeks legends - Julie, Ken, Di C, Rita, Liz, Erin, Peter, Karina & Di J. (Di, pro-tip... Timekeeping is a bit easier if you remember to bring your phone 😎...) Next week we still need a Barcode Scanner, Marshal, & a Photographer, so if you can help out, let us know. Also a big thanks to Arrosto Coffee for providing our volunteers with a hot beverage every week! Much appreciated! Anyway, have a good week, take care, & we look forward to seeing you all next week! Cheers!

Its Friday. That means tomorrow is Saturday. That means tomorrow is parkrun. That means I have to get up & be there before you. That means you must get up & be at the start line before 08:00. That means you have to listen to me waffle on for a bit. That means I say "Ready Set Go" & you have fun. Cool.

Thanks for joining us yesterday for parkrun!

It was a great event with a few PBs.
Congratulations to Kaine for taking 10 years to reach 50 parkruns. I bet the next 50 don’t take any where near as long.

Roster is full now for next week - thank you.

Enjoy the cooler week and see you all next Saturday - same time, same place, and always the same distance!
