🎄RENMARK CHRISTMAS PAGEANT – A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES!🎄

It might still be a few months away, but now is a good time for Renmark businesses to put this year’s Christmas Pageant in the calendar – and consider staying open after 6pm!

With more than 5,000 people attending last year’s Pageant, the event brings a huge crowd into town. And with a sizeable break between the Pageant and the fireworks, there’s a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to benefit, with visitors looking for somewhere to eat, shop and spend time before the fireworks begin.

We’re offering free promotion on our social media to help local businesses make the most of the thousands of visitors in town.

The Renmark Christmas Pageant is an annual event that parades through the Renmark town centre to delight of residents and visitors to the Riverland.

This great expression of community spirit is a testament to the Riverland's people, their resilience and their desire for all-inclusive fellowship. The Renmark Christmas Pageant is driven by the Renmark Christmas Celebrations Committee, supported by the Renmark Paringa Council and backed by many local businesses, organisations and volunteers.

This year's Parade will start at 6:30pm and Fireworks adjacent to the Taylor Riverfront Precinct will start at 9:00pm.

As well as the parade and fireworks, there is much for the family to do, including;

- Santa's Cave & Photos with Santa
- Late Night Shopping
- Sideshows
- Food Court
- Sensory Space
- Face painting
- Riverland Brass & Community Concert Band
- Balloon Clowns in the street..and much, much more!

Congratulations to this year's Christmas Lights Competition!

Thank you to the residents that registered and thanks to all the other residents who have put up lights this year.

We strongly recommend that you check out these great displays for yourself as well as other great examples a 21 Railway Terrace, 64 Tenth Street, 1 Dedes Drive, Sims Parade and Sharley Court - just to name just a few.

Just a reminder that if you would like your lights to be in next year's competition, please take the time to register formally on our website in November/December 2026 (https://renmarkchristmaspageant.com.au/). Renmark has many beautiful christmas decorations on display this year, but only a fraction were registered.
