ACOUSTIC MUSIC SESSION THIS SATURDAY 12th September

If you enjoy acoustic music in a quiet and welcoming atmosphere, then you would probably fit right in with 'Dirt Music'
(named for the Tim Winton novel) which is meeting this Saturday at 1 pm
(for a potluck lunch) till 4 pm at Summer Hill Creek, just north of Orange.

Hi all friends of Bathurst Folk club,
We have a very exciting artist coming to our little club on 16th Sept 7.30pm at Jack Duggans Pub. I am proud to present for your listening enjoyment - Kavisha Mazzella, a true star on the music scene, winner of various awards and with an Australian medal to boot. She will be supported by the incredible Skinks, a duet that came a few months ago and were unique in a way only a personal encounter can describe. Eastern music ingeniously improvised.

I do hope you can make it as it is going to be very special. Let your friends know.
Price will be the same as usual such an incredible bargain at $20 rec.

She is a warm, engaging, and thoughtful singer-songwriter who also invites audience participation in her concerts. She has been a valued part of the Australian Folk movement since the 1990s In 2024 she won the Australian Folk Alliance Lifetime achievement Award Her motto is Sing For No one, Sing For Everyone ! Hey Jammers, our first Old Timey Jam was a hoot. The experience and knowledge in the was impressive.

We are back the_haze_orange on Sunday the 27th of September to do it all again.

The time, Ross Gilbert will run a free blues harp workshop. You get to learn from one of the best harmonica players in our region in a practical session with a blues band on hand. How good is that? Thank you in advance Ross 🙏
