For 40-years, Surfest has been part of Newcastle's story. From our beginnings at Newcastle Beach, our memorable visit to Newcastle Harbour, and the memories of the past two decades at Merewether.

Now, the defining moments of these locations are immortalised in three commemorative plaques. Special thanks to Kim and Jeanine Burton who supported Surfest to fund the three plaques which were officially unveiled this morning.
