At Energy Breakthrough, we know teamwork keeps everyone safe - on the track and on the road.
Let’s all do our part to keep kids safe.
Slow down at school crossings, give way when the flags are up, wait for everyone to cross, and park safely before letting kids out.

Preparing your Display and Presentation for Energy Breakthrough 2026?

Following feedback from our judges, we’ve made minor updates to the criteria, with greater emphasis on the event’s aims and values.

The assessment breakdown is:

• Oral Presentation: 15%
• Teamwork: 15%
• Knowledge & Understanding: 30%
• Preparation & Technical Development: 10%
• Visual Display: 20%
• Story & Context: 10%

Self-funded schools are asked to show how they promote Energy Breakthrough within their school and wider community.

Digital judging will continue following last year’s successful iPad trial, helping schools receive timely feedback.

We look forward to seeing your students’ creativity, learning and teamwork on display!
