We organise regular events for our members and guests to learn about sustainable practices, get hands-on experience and to share our knowledge, skills and resources. These events may be about learning the simple tec

hniques that have increasingly been lost in a fast-paced, consumption oriented world, such as preserving produce, weaving and looking after a vege garden. Or they may be about using modern technology to make more efficient use of resources, such as building wicking gardens, running an aquaponics system, or knowing the ins and outs of generating your own electricity with solar panels. This video will give you an idea about why an opportunity to listen to Saul Griffith in Bendigo on Wed 14th at 6pm is one not to be missed. It was recorded at a meeting in Noosa and also has Colin Lambie of Bendigo Sustainabilty Group speaking about his airtight house with its german air exchange system that ensures fresh air at the correct temperature can keep moving through the house. This book launch was held by Zero Emissions Noosa to launch ‘Plug In’ The Electrification Handbook. The venue was the Sunshine Beach Surf Club - Noosa.
