A huge thank you goes to the teachers, principals, careers advisors, supervisors and school staff who made the effort to bring their students to the Agri Life Skills Program at the NQ Field Days. 💚
We know it isn't always easy.
Excursions require planning, paperwork, approvals, risk assessments, transport arrangements and time away from the classroom. Yet you made it happen because you understand the value of exposing young people to real industries, real people and real opportunities.
Agriculture is so much more than what happens behind the farm gate. It is the businesses, trades, technology, science, transport, administration, research and communities that support it every day.
By bringing your students along, you gave them the opportunity to ask questions, try new skills, build confidence and discover pathways they may never have considered before.
A special congratulations also goes to your students. Throughout the day, businesses commented on how respectful, engaged and well-mannered students from every school were. They asked questions, had a go, listened, learned and represented their schools with pride.
That is a credit to the students themselves, their families and the educators who continue to invest in their development.
To every teacher, principal, careers advisor and supervisor who attended - Thank you for believing in the importance of creating opportunities for young people.
