A huge thank you goes to the teachers, principals, careers advisors, supervisors and school staff who made the effort to bring their students to the Agri Life Skills Program at the NQ Field Days. 💚

We know it isn't always easy.

Excursions require planning, paperwork, approvals, risk assessments, transport arrangements and time away from the classroom. Yet you made it happen because you understand the value of exposing young people to real industries, real people and real opportunities.

Agriculture is so much more than what happens behind the farm gate. It is the businesses, trades, technology, science, transport, administration, research and communities that support it every day.

By bringing your students along, you gave them the opportunity to ask questions, try new skills, build confidence and discover pathways they may never have considered before.

A special congratulations also goes to your students. Throughout the day, businesses commented on how respectful, engaged and well-mannered students from every school were. They asked questions, had a go, listened, learned and represented their schools with pride.

That is a credit to the students themselves, their families and the educators who continue to invest in their development.

To every teacher, principal, careers advisor and supervisor who attended - Thank you for believing in the importance of creating opportunities for young people.

We hope to see you and your students at the next Agri Life Skills Program. 🌱🚜

A huge thank you to Rotary NQ Field Days , especially Katrina, Graeme and all the Rotary members who welcomed Link2Country and supported our Agri Life Skills Program. 💚

Thanks also to Nick Dametto Mayor of Townsville for putting us in touch with Rotary Townsville and helping create this opportunity. What started as a conversation became an incredible partnership that allowed us to showcase the Link2Country vision and deliver our Agri Life Skills Program at the 2026 NQ Field Days.

On Friday, 146 students participated in the program across 12 hands-on business rotations, connecting young people with industry, skills, careers and opportunities they may never have experienced otherwise.

We are incredibly grateful for the time, support and confidence Rotary placed in us. Thank you for believing in the importance of creating pathways, building connections and helping young people discover what is possible.

We look forward to continuing to grow these opportunities together. 🌱🚜
