๐ ๐ป HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE ๐ป ๐
๐ปPLEASE READ TO THE END๐ง
The day is finally here! I hope you are all as excited as I am! Before we kick off this afternoon I wanted to go over some really important things for the event.
All children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The WINDOW FOR TRICK OR TREATING IS 5:30pm - 8pm
Some houses may be a starting a little later and some may finish earlier. The big thing to know is DO NOT approach any homes unless they are clearly participating. If residents are not out the front of their property or have a set up out the front for you to get candy, consider them not involved in the event and do not disturb them. Some will also have signs up saying they are not participating. Please be respectful!
PLEASE LEAVE PETS AT HOME. Though we would love to see them all dressed up too, there will be lots of people and vehicles around and we would hate for something to happen to someone or a beloved pet.
Please remember to BRING A WATERBOTTLE and stay hydrated. It will be very hot and dressed in costumes, kids can overheat easily. Cold water coolers will be placed out the front of a few properties. Please help yourself to top up a water bottle or have a cup of cold water. Remember to place the empty cups in the bins provided and do not litter.
When walking along and crossing roads please be extra careful and supervise your children. The roads will still have vehicles driving along and we would hate for someone to get injured.
PARKING - The area will be very busy with families walking. DO NOT PARK YOUR CARS ON THE RED STREETS. The last thing we need is families having to weave in and out of parked cars trying to get to houses or residents getting upset because they are blocked in.
Below you will find a map. The area marked in RED is where trick or treating will take place. The YELLOW areas are areas where cars can potentially park though please be mindful not to park on train tracks on blocking people's driveways.
BE RESPECTFUL ๐ The residents of the houses are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. Use your manners and be kind.
Have a fantastic time and I can't wait to see everyone!
