Every May, dozens of incredible volunteers pull on a blue vest and help bring Grampians Grape Escape to life.

From scanning tickets and pouring wine to early mornings and late pack downs, this festival simply wouldn’t happen without you!

Thank you for showing up for the Grampians community year after year with such generosity, energy and heart. 💛

Smoke drifted across the festival grounds all weekend as crowds gathered around open coals, fire pits and live cooking demonstrations.

The smell alone pulled you in from across the grounds.

HUGE thanks to and writer Holly Bodeker-Smith for heading to Halls Gap and capturing the magic of Grampians Grape Escape 2026. 🍷⛰️

From cool-climate shiraz and natural wines to fire cooking, artisan produce and the incredible backdrop of Gariwerd, this piece beautifully captures what the weekend is all about.

We especially loved seeing so many western Victorian producers and businesses celebrated, including , , , , , and .winery 1878 Shiraz, alongside regional favourites like , , and .

Seeing the festival grounds buzzing with more than 7,500 people across the weekend was something pretty special. 💛

The radios are finally switched off, the last bits of festival gear are packed away and the GGE team has officially flopped onto the couch with a cuppa. ☕️😮‍💨

What a weekend.

More than 7,500 people travelled to Halls Gap across three huge days of wine, food, music, fire pits and mountain air, and we’re still trying to process it all properly. 😅

Behind the scenes, a small but incredibly hardworking team spent months building GGE 2026 from the ground up, alongside an amazing crew of volunteers, suppliers, exhibitors, partners and local businesses who help bring the festival to life each year.

To everyone who made the trip to the Grampians, danced in the rain, stomped grapes and supported regional producers across the weekend, thank you. We genuinely couldn’t do it without you 🍇

Did you catch and at this year’s GGE?

The two reunited after working together at Quay in Sydney back in 2014! It was amazing to watch them cook up a storm together during their Wild Adventures clay fire cooking demo in the coal pit on Sunday morning. 🔥🍗
