🔴 RED FOR DANIEL AT GATTON PARKRUN! 🔴
Date: Next Saturday 31 October
Time: 6:45 AM briefing for a 7:00 AM start
Location: Lake Apex, Gatton
Next Saturday, our usual parkrun community is adding a splash of Red to Lake Apex! We are inviting all our walkers, joggers, runners, and volunteers to wear something red in support of Daniel Morcombe Day

For 21 years, we've walked for Daniel on the Sunshine Coast, joined by thousands of locals and supporters from further afield. Now the walk is going national, thanks to parkrun Australia.

On Saturday 31 October, 550 parkrun events across the country are invited to take part in parkwalk for Daniel. Wherever you live, wear red and walk for child safety.

Already a parkrunner? Head to your local parkrun in red.

Thank you to all of our Volunteers for creating a successful Gatton parkrun event #654!

Unfortunately we are missing token numbers 25 and 57 (name and nunber may not correlate to the results page due to a slight shuffle needed). Each week we remind people that they’re not a token to take home as we need them returned to reuse week after week.

If you have accidently taken one home we’d love to get it back before next weekend.

Also please be reminded that when you are finishing the course, please ensure you come through the flags if you wish to receive a token, and as a result a time.

Pre race briefings are important for all participants so the event runs safely and smoothly. It would be appreciated if everyone can turn up and give 5 minutes of your time to listen to the pre race brief and, if you’re a first timer or not a regular parkrunner, arrive at 6:45am for first timers brief.

We hope everyone enjoyed their morning at the Lake and see you all again next Saturday!
