We're celebrating Queensland Day on Saturday 6 June , turning Golden Beach parkrun maroon!
We know parkrunners love nothing more than dressing up!
So dig out the tutus, wigs, active wear, State of Origin jerseys or any other creative concoction that comes to mind!

Congratulations to the 200 participants this morning. Plenty of personal bests on a cooler morning 🎉. Thank you to the 16 amazing volunteers who made event #603 possible. Sadly, no volunteer photographer, therefore no pictures 😪.
A special mention to RD Bill Hunter for achieving his 50th volunteer milestone. Thank you for your contribution; we appreciate you! 👏👏👏

For this Saturday the 30th May we need:

- Marshal filled #
- Photographer

Next week the 6th June we need:

- 2 Marshals
- 1 turnaround Marshal
- Photographer

*Course Update*
As many will be aware, the pathworks around the Navy Cadets area are now complete. We have been advised by Council that there are ongoing works around the Woorim Park area. Until such time as these are complete, we are unable to consider a return to our original course.
We continue to liaise with Sunshine Coast Council and parkrun Australia and will keep the community updated. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
