🌬️🎡 Weather Update – Sunday, 3 May

Due to very strong winds, the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel will be closed today (3 May) for the safety of our guests and team.

While we’d love to be spinning, safety always comes first when the Bay gets a little too breezy. 💨

We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back soon for calmer skies, smoother rides, and those unbeatable Glenelg views. 💜

🎆✨ What a night in Glenelg! 🎶🎡

Last night’s Electric Island Festival absolutely delivered — those fireworks were next level! 🔥🎆 Lighting up the sky over the Bay and creating such an incredible atmosphere.

Even with a bit of classic unpredictable weather thrown in, the crowd brought nothing but amazing energy, great vibes, and good times all around. 🌊💃

And because we love Glenelg (and nights like this) so much… we’ve got some exciting news 👀

🎡 We’re extending our season by another week!
That’s right — the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel will now be spinning all the way through to 17 May 2026!

More sunsets, more seaside views, and more unforgettable moments at the Bay. 💜

🐰💔 The Easter Bunny has some news…

He was a little sad to hear that some children weren’t able to make it to the Jetty Road Easter Egg Hunt last weekend… 🥺🥚

But don’t worry — he’s hopping back into town for a special visit! 🎉

You can catch him at the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel on Easter Sunday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm 🐣🎡

And this time, he’s brought some little friends along… 👀
They’re hiding all around the Ferris Wheel — can you find them all? 🐰🥚✨

The Easter Bunny has been spotted relaxing at The Moseley Beach Club, soaking up the sunshine before his busy Easter Egg Hunt weekend in Glenelg! ☀️

🐰🥚 The Easter Bunny has been busy in Glenelg…

We’ve spotted him hopping around, practising his egg hiding skills ahead of the Jetty Road Easter Egg Hunt, going for a ride on the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel and taste testing the chocolate.

Let’s just say… some of his hiding spots might be a little too obvious 😅
(Lucky he’s still got a few days to practise — there’s definitely room for improvement!)

The KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel is having a little glow-up tomorrow 🎨✨

We’ll be opening later due to scheduled maintenance — nothing dramatic, the Wheel just deserved a tiny pamper session. 💅🎡

She’s out here getting ready so she can keep serving those unbeatable Glenelg views in style.

Thanks for your patience while we give her a quick makeover — we’ll be back spinning from 4PM and ready to roll into the afternoon and evening with you! 💜

☀️🔥 Important update for tomorrow at the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel 🎡

Due to extreme heat across South Australia, the KIIS 1023 Giant Wheel will be closed until 1:30pm tomorrow to ensure the safety and comfort of both our guests and team.

We look forward to reopening in the afternoon once conditions are more suitable and welcoming everyone back for cooler rides, sea breezes, and great views over the Bay. 🌊🌅

Thank you for your understanding — we hope to see you from 1:30pm onwards!
