Lakeview parkrun

A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at The Shores Way, Belmont. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Lakeview parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am at Green Point Reserve, Belmont NSW 2280. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Thanks everyone out on course today for a wonderful event in near perfect conditions. A special thank you to the parkruners who jumped in and aided a fellow runner who had a little tumble, he is ok at home resting, results were a little later than normal.

We need you help!!!! We are very short on vollies for next week. We need: timekeeper, barcode scanner and finish tokens. If you can help please reach out.

We also have had a few tokens grow legs and run off so if you happen to, accidentally, have 42 or 69, please return them home to their families who are worried.

Who can help us out??? We need another barcode scanner for Saturday. If you love hearing people talk about getting a great time, talking to others who can barely breath, standing out in nature and listening to birds and looking out across our beautiful lake, have we got the role for you. Hit us up if you can do it this Saturday
