THURSDAY NIGHT SNOOKER – FINAL ROUND 18

WHAT A MAD SEASON! AND LOOK WHO FINISHED ON TOP!

WOW! You couldn't have scripted this finish!

After 18 rounds of incredible competition, upsets, black ball finishes and a ladder that changed almost every week, the defending champions DMW DEMONS have somehow finished MINOR PREMIERS!
That's right! After struggling early in the season, Rex Cole and Adam Edwards have stormed home to claim top spot!

And what a final round it was!

DMW DEMONS 7 – 5 CLEAN SLATE

The Demons needed a result, and they delivered when it mattered most!

All four singles matches finished 1–1, leaving everything riding on the shootout. The Demons held their nerve, winninrg it 3–1 to claim victory and finish on 19 points!

From the chasing pack to MINOR PREMIERS! What a comeback!

CHALLENGERS 9 – 6 DOUBLE TROUBLE

One of the biggest results of the night!

Double Trouble entered the final round on top, but Michael Watson and Stuart Carter had other ideas!

Both recorded impressive 3–0 victories over Matt Mielke, while Vinay Singh kept Double Trouble in the contest with a 3–0 win of his own.

The result sends Challengers into fourth place and leaves Double Trouble second!

POT BLACKS 9 – 5 WHAM!

Another huge upset!

Flynn Davison and Paul Beasley were outstanding, both recording 3–0 victories to knock off WHAM and secure fifth place.

WHAM had been leading the competition just two rounds ago. That's how crazy this season has been!

OVER THE HILL 10 – 6 BALL BREAKERS

The Uncles are finishing with a bang!

Uncle Rick and Uncle Derek both bounced back from early defeats to record convincing 3–0 wins, before sweeping the shootout 4–0!

That's two big wins in consecutive weeks for Over the Hill. Could the old boys be the danger team in the Minor Finals?

BAD NIGHT FOR THE MURPHYS – FATHER AND SON BOW OUT!

Both Allan Murphy and son Shane entered their semi-finals as arguably the favourites, but the form book went straight out the window!

STEVE HARRIS BOUNCES BACK!

After last week's marathon battle against Guy Taylor, Steve Harris returned with a point to prove!
Facing the experienced Allan Murphy, Steve produced a commanding performance, racing to a 3–0 victory and booking his place in the Minor Final!

MATT MIELKE IS BACK!

Where has this Matt been all season?

After a tough round robin campaign, Matt has suddenly rediscovered his old form, and what a time to find it!
Facing an in-form Shane Murphy, Matt produced his best snooker of the season, playing with confidence and composure to claim a stunning 3–0 victory!
That's two consecutive 3–0 wins for Matt, and he's looking more dangerous with every match!

THE MINOR FINAL IS SET!

STEVE HARRIS v MATT MIELKE

Steve is back to winning ways, while Matt has come from the bottom of the ladder to become a genuine title contender!

MAJOR FINALS – WHAT A NIGHT!

THE FINAL FOUR ARE LOCKED IN!

Another fantastic night at SnookerSA as the Championship League delivered drama, pressure and a final black that had everything riding on it!

DANNY ALLEN – TOO CONSISTENT!

Danny Allen defeated Guy Taylor 3–0, but don't let the scoreline fool you!

Guy made him work for every frame, refusing to give anything away. But Danny's consistency and experience proved the difference, booking his place in the semi-finals!

UNCLE RICK – THE CREAM RISES AGAIN!

WHAT A MATCH!

Fermin So came out firing, racing to a 2–0 lead and putting the league's minor premier under enormous pressure!

At 2–1, Fermin had his chance to finish the job, but Rick wasn't going anywhere!

Back came Uncle Rick to level at 2–2!

And then came the drama. The deciding frame went all the way to the FINAL BLACK!

With the match on the line, Rick stepped up and potted an absolute pressure black to complete an incredible 3–2 comeback!

That's why they call him Uncle Rick!

TUESDAY NIGHT SNOOKER – ROUND 6

WILDCARDS BOUNCE BACK – POT BLACKS ON THE CHARGE!
Another fantastic Tuesday night at SnookerSA! Some great performances, a couple of surprises and plenty of action around the tables!

WILDCARDS BACK IN BUSINESS!

The defending champions bounced straight back from last week's defeat with a convincing 11–3 victory over the Dragons!

Keishan Fox was unstoppable, winning both matches 3–0.

And welcome Michael Whellans, who has officially joined the Wildcards. Another experienced campaigner added to an already dangerous combination!

POT BLACKS ARE ON FIRE!

After losing their opening four matches, the Pot Blacks have suddenly found their mojo!

Two wins in a row, this time defeating Loose Cannons 8–5!

Peter Platanitis produced a brilliant 3–0 victory over league legend Tom Zervos, while Tom Stergiopoulos continued his solid form.

Look out, the Pot Blacks are coming!

GREAT TO SEE PETER WOODS BACK!

Top Enders defeated Hypno Potters 8–5, with Tony Christopher leading the charge with a convincing 3–0 victory over George Hagidimitriou.

But one of the highlights of the night was seeing Peter Woods back at the tables!

After recovering from surgery, Peter kindly stepped in to fill a vacancy, and it was fantastic to see him hitting balls again and enjoying his snooker.

Great to have you back, Peter!

WELCOME JIMMY SINGH!

Fuzzy Balls have a new recruit!

Jimmy Singh has officially joined the Tuesday League, teaming up with Sijan Thapa.

And what a debut! Jimmy produced an impressive 3–0 victory over Russell Barker as Fuzzy Balls and The Kings Men fought out a thrilling 7–7 draw.

A great start to the new partnership!

DRAGONS KEEP LEARNING!

Another tough assignment for James Metaxas and Danielle Banzon, but their enthusiasm and dedication to improving continue to impress.

Keep at it, Dragons. The experience will pay off!

MONDAY NIGHT BILLIARDS – ROUND 9

BUNNY SQUAD HOLD TOP SPOT AS THE BATTLE FOR FINALS HEATS UP!

Another fantastic Monday night of billiards at SnookerSA, with some incredibly close matches, outstanding breaks and plenty of movement in the race for finals positions!

BUNNY SQUAD KEEP ROLLING!

Bunny Squad 3 – 1 The Usuals

The ladder leaders continue to set the pace, but The Usuals certainly made them work for it!

Peter Udycz was the difference, winning both his matches in two nail-biting encounters, defeating Warren Reynolds 270–249 and Rex Cole 270–254.

Dean Watson had mixed fortunes, going down to Rex Cole before bouncing back with a convincing victory over Warren Reynolds.

And what about Peter's break building?

An outstanding 85 break, the highest of the season, adding yet another impressive achievement to his growing collection!

Bunny Squad now lead the competition with 9 points, but the chasing pack aren't going away!

HAZARD HUNTERS AND MOTLEY CREW SHARE THE SPOILS!

Hazard Hunters 2 – 2 Motley Crew 2.0

What a battle!

Craig Hese and Michael Kalaba took on Dennis Wignall and Nes Fernandez in a contest that could have gone either way.

Michael produced one of the closest results of the night, edging out Nes Fernandez 270–260, while Craig Hese defeated Nes 270–201.

But Dennis Wignall was in outstanding form for Motley Crew, winning both his matches to ensure the points were shared.

Motley Crew remain firmly in second place, just one point behind Bunny Squad.

THE BREAK-MAKING MACHINE STRIKES AGAIN!

Peter Udycz has raised the bar yet again!

His magnificent 85 break takes over as the season's highest, surpassing his previous best of 72.

And let's not forget Rex Cole, who produced an excellent 55 break of his own.

Peter continues to dominate the break table, but it's great to see other players stepping up and producing quality billiards.

A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR FILL-IN PLAYERS!

A special thank you to The Usuals players who stepped in to help keep the competition running smoothly.

With Tad Babiak away at Phillip Island and Chris Wignall interstate with work commitments in Victoria, it was fantastic to see everyone pitching in to ensure the matches went ahead.

Your support and willingness to help out is greatly appreciated!

With the competition heating up and some excellent billiards being played, Monday nights continue to deliver at SnookerSA.

What an incredible performance from The Warrior! 👏

A fantastic display of skill, determination and composure on the big stage. Once again, Kyren has shown exactly why he belongs amongst the very best in world snooker.

Everyone here at Riley England would like to congratulate Kyren on a thoroughly deserved victory in Belfast! 🏆

👏 A special mention must also go to Jak Jones, who is enjoying an absolutely outstanding season!

With two ranking titles already under his belt this season, winning both the Championship League and British Open, Jak has firmly established himself as one of the standout performers on the professional circuit. His remarkable form, consistency and determination have been a pleasure to watch, and reaching another major final is further proof of just how far he’s come. A fantastic achievement and a season he can be incredibly proud of! 👏

As for Kyren, it’s a genuine privilege for us at Riley England to work alongside such an exceptional player. His dedication, professionalism and passion for the game are second to none, and we’re incredibly proud to play a small part in his journey.

A world-class player, a true professional and a brilliant ambassador for the sport.
