Please note - there is a course change enforced by DEW for security reasons on Centre Track. The route now goes via 2nd Falls Gorge Hike to Morialta Falls Car Park and then joins up with the Yurrebilla trail at Deep View Lookout - this section of the course is in this weekend's training run!

Only one week to go until Yurrebilla Ultra Marathon.
Events like this can only be a great success with the help of our volunteers.
We are still looking for course marshalls to make sure our runners stay safe along the course.

We have seen that many people asked why SARRC made the decision to cancel this year Yurrebilla 56km Ultra.

Once we were forced to move the Adelaide Marathon Festival to late September, proceeding with Yurrebilla in 2020 became untenable because:

There were no viable alternate dates in the overall running event calendar.

Yurrebilla requires a large number of volunteers – exacerbated by the need for more volunteers than usual to run the Adelaide Marathon Festival due to COVID requirements

It is a complex event to manage and becomes more difficult to run in a COVID safe manner.

Yurrebilla is a relatively expensive event to run, and we considered the unique ‘Yurrebilla experience’ which is not possible to maintain under the event rules in the 2020 COVID world.

We thank you all for your understanding. In the meantime keep running on the beautiful trails and stay safe.

It's with great disappointment that we had to make the decision to cancel this year Yurrebilla Ultra 2020.
Those people who have Yurrebilla entries can use them as credit for SARRC events this year and next, including Yurrebilla 2021.
