Meet Ms Edith Mugarisanwa,with over 20 years of service at ZESA Enterprises Private Limited, a subsidiary of ZESA Holdings, Ms. Edith has built a respected career defined by professionalism, discipline, precision and excellence in executive support.

Serving as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director, Edith plays an important role in supporting leadership, strengthening operational coordination and contributing to organisational effectiveness in a demanding corporate environment.

Her professional excellence received notable recognition in 2026 when she won the Top Leadership and Strategic Support Executive Assistant of the Year Award (Platinum Category), presented by the Global Business Achievers Network in Harare. This achievement reflects the value of strategic leadership support in strengthening organisational performance and effective decision-making.

Beyond the corporate environment, Edith has also contributed to national celebrations and community engagement. In 2024, she served on the organising committee for the Independence Day celebrations in Murambinda, Manicaland, as Creative Coordinator for the Miss Uhuru pageant, helping promote cultural expression, talent development and community participation.

Her commitment to developing others is equally significant. Through mentorship at the ZESA National Training Centre, she encourages young professionals and girls to pursue their ambitions, embrace leadership and navigate socio-economic barriers. Meet Munyaradzi Zhou, a Zimbabwean innovator and Master's student at Chinhoyi University of Technology, using artificial intelligence and robotics to develop solutions to real-world challenges.
From developing an AI Smart Helmet designed to improve miners' safety, to creating technology for environmental reporting and accessible communication, Munyaradzi is exploring how innovation can serve people and communities.
His work has earned international recognition, with his AI Smart Helmet featured by international media and his environmental innovation recognised among the Top 4 at the COP15 Hackathon Innovation Challenge, according to his nomination profile. His journey also includes winning the 2026 National AI for Impact (AI4I) Hackathon Grand Prize, as reported in his dossier.
Beyond the technology, his commitment extends to empowering young people with robotics and digital skills, helping nurture the next generation of Zimbabwean innovators.
His story reflects the power of homegrown talent, bold ideas and technology driven by purpose.

From poultry feeds for broilers and layers to specialised piggery feeds and custom feed formulations,Bondela Feeds combines quality nutrition with practical knowledge to support farmers in achieving better livestock performance and more sustainable production.
