What do you call sesame seed in your native language?
We spoke to Lauren, a sesame seed farmer from Chipinge, and she calls it "uninga." In other parts of Zimbabwe, it's known as runinga or chitowa. Same seed, many names. 🇿🇼
We love talking to sesame farmers because without them, there are no seed bars. Every Eny's Treats bar starts in a farmer's field.
