The Kariba International Tiger Fish Tournament (KITFT) has been held annually since 1962. Anglers from all over the world compete to catch the iconic tiger fish. KITFT week is one of the busiest weeks of the year for the town of Kariba, Zimbabwe. With the participants, their families, and the many spectators who come to watch the weigh-ins making the Kariba International Tiger Fish Tournament the

For over six decades, KITFT has been more than just a fishing tournament it’s been 65 years of competition, laughter, smiles, big catches… and let’s be honest, a few “the one that got away” stories that get bigger every year 😄
From early mornings on the water to sunsets filled with tales of glory (and creative exaggeration), KITFT is where friendships are forged, rivalries are born, and the true spirit of angling comes alive.
