NAKONDE TOWN COUNCIL MOVES FAST AFTER PS VISIT TO DISTRICT HOSPITAL
_“We don’t joke with work” – Council, Health Team Swing into Action on Sanitation_

Nakonde Town Council isn’t sleeping on the job.
Just hours after Muchinga PS Dr. Tuesday Bwalya raised concerns over sanitation at Nakonde District Hospital, council officials and hospital management sat down and mapped out an immediate action plan. By Monday, work crews from Local Government and Health Departments of Works will be on site.
As _The Community Updates_, we will follow these issues with the same passion we have for a hot plate of Nakonde rice. And where credit is due, we give it.

No jokes when it comes to service delivery
Nakonde Town Council doesn’t do “jokes ( Chimbuya ) , first, work later” like the saying goes among Bemba, Ngoni, and Tumbuka communities. Here, it’s *work first, then the jokes.
That’s the kind of management a busy border district like Nakonde needs – especially one that never sleeps, much like that guy sliding into inboxes at 23:00 to a lady in passion of winning her.
We also commend Nakonde District Hospital management for their quick response and commitment to protecting the health of the community.
