GOOD MORNING

John 14:27

‘Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’

- Often our hearts and our minds are harassed by the worries of life.

- Even in the face of trouble, our confidence and trust can be in God.

- God does not want you to be troubled or overcome with fear.

- Do the possible, and leave the impossible in His capable hands. Amen 🙏

PRAYER: Lord, what a joy it is to know that regardless of what I am facing or going through, You are with me and You want me to experience Your peace. I choose confidence over concern and faith over fear and Amen.

Psalm 46:10

‘Be still, and know that I am God!’

- There are so many voices clamouring for our attention.

- In all the noise, we can choose to be still and focus on God.

- Often we are tempted to jump in and handle things ourselves.

- Let us persevere, knowing that God will not be defeated.

PRAYER: Lord, in the busyness and challenges of life, may I never forget that You are God. I pray that Your presence will be a reality to me each day and that Your presence will give me the strength and perseverance I need to trust Your plans and purposes for my life. Amen.

Matthew 14:27

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’

- How reassuring it is to hear these words spoken by our Lord.

- Life has a way of giving us so much to be worried and anxious about.

- But in the midst of it we hear these words: ‘Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.’

- Take heart, don’t worry and be courageous, because He is with you.

PRAYER: Lord, when You spoke these words to Your disciples they were afraid. Your words brought them comfort and strength. Today I receive these same words into my heart and I am also strengthened and reassured because You are the same, yesterday, today and forever. Amen.

Isaiah 43:18

- It may feel like things will never change in your life – but they will.
- You will not be stuck forever in your current circumstances.
- The Lord can and will work in your situation and bring about change.
- Do not look backwards, but look ahead and expect His intervention.

PRAYER: Lord, I will not live my life looking into the rear-view mirror. I choose to look ahead with confidence and assurance that You will make a way for me and turn things around. Amen.
