Zambia National Christian Choir and Orchestra - Lusaka Region
The Zambia National Christian Choir and Orchestra – Lusaka Region extends its heartfelt gratitude and sincere appreciation to every member who participated in our outreach programme held on Saturday, 27th June 2026.
Your commitment, generosity, and willingness to serve made this outreach a great success. Together, we demonstrated the love of Christ through acts of kindness, compassion, and service to those in need.
Guided by our theme, “Reaching Out to Others to Create Our Own Future,” the purpose of this outreach was to reach out to souls that needed our help, answer cries that longed to be heard, and wipe away tears through the love and comfort of God. In line with this mission, we visited Vow Trust Orphanage, not with the intention of changing their circumstances overnight, but to make a meaningful contribution towards their growth and well-being by offering the little that God had blessed us with. Through the grace and guidance of the Holy Spirit, we were able to fulfil this mission.
During our visit, we spent quality time interacting with the children, sharing moments of joy, laughter, and encouragement. Sister Gloria organized fun and engaging games that brought smiles to the faces of the children and created a warm and cheerful atmosphere.
Following the games, Sister Jenala read the Scripture from Jeremiah 29:10–12, while our leader, Mr. Sitili, interpreted and shared its message with the children. Special emphasis was placed on Jeremiah 29:11, which says:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)
The children were encouraged to understand that, regardless of their present circumstances, God has a purpose and a wonderful plan for each of their lives. They were reminded that being orphaned does not define their future, because God knows each one of them personally, loves them deeply, and has promised them hope and a bright future. They were encouraged to trust in Him, remain faithful, and seek Him with all their hearts, knowing that He will guide their lives according to His perfect will.
As the Word was being shared, some of the children became emotional because the message spoke directly to their hearts. Through prayer, words of encouragement, and the love of Christ, we comforted them, assuring them that they are never forgotten by God. It was a touching moment that strengthened both the children and everyone present.
Following the devotion, we presented our donations, which included foodstuffs and gift bags containing Crocs, chitenges, books, pencils, and other essential items. These gifts were received with great joy and heartfelt appreciation, reflecting the happiness that even simple acts of kindness can bring.
The visit concluded with heartfelt words of appreciation from the owner of Vow Trust Orphanage, who sincerely thanked the Zambia National Christian Choir and Orchestra – Lusaka Region for the love, generosity, and compassion shown to the children. The appreciation expressed by the orphanage reminded us that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference in someone’s life.
Once again, we extend our sincere gratitude to every member who contributed through prayers, donations, time, resources, and their presence. Your sacrifice, unity, and willingness to serve made this outreach possible. May the Lord richly bless each one of you for your generosity and dedication to His work.
As the Bible reminds us:
“And let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
May God continue to bless the Zambia National Christian Choir and Orchestra – Lusaka Region as we continue to serve Him faithfully, reach out to the vulnerable, and share the love of Christ with our communities.
To God be all the glory!
