It’s with heavy hearts that we share the news that this year’s Amazing Festival in Livingstone won’t be going ahead. With national elections taking place in Zambia in August, and wanting to avoid uncertainties for our beautiful community of festival-goers, artists, and partners, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause the festival this year. This wasn’t an easy choice — we truly love bringing everyone together in Livingstone — but exercising caution during this period is prudent. Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We can’t wait to return and celebrate together when the time is right. 💛

We’ve danced through 2024 & 2025, and now it’s time to make 2026 even bigger, bolder, and more unforgettable 🌍✨

We are excited to introduce, * Rico F King* 🇿🇼 to once again grace the Amazing Festival 2025 🤩
Spent 10 years competitive ballroom and latin dance experience both local and international under the zimbabwe amateur dance sport associoation before exploring social dances like salsa bachata and kizomba and learning dances from their roots like tango(originally from argentina and very different to its competitive counterpart), zouk and Samba to mention a few dances..
Started the kizomba and social dance movements from 2016 starting with salsa nights originally hosted at pariah estate and then what was blue at 2. That later evolved into what is now the kizomba movement. A moving social dance night that’s breaking through divisional barriers and bringing people closer together than ever through kizomba as well as salsa and bachata on request.
Later going on to start the Thursdance movement which is and advanced dance choreo challenge which is providing a new FREE platform for talented dancers of ALL genres to come and have their choreography AND dance skill to the test against other decorated dancers. Giving them access to new knowledge, networks and profiles built for them through the thursdance team.
To show recognition to Zambia’s roots, Flex 🇿🇲 will be mixing things up and bringing the Afro vibes to the festival.
Flex Kayombo aka, ‘the vibe maker’ is a young Zambian dancer and choreographer who has committed himself to pursuing dance full time. Alongside other passions such as skate boarding Flex has grown up dancing both on the streets of Mongu and Lusaka and professionally for some of Zambias most renowned artists. Flex has such natural talent he is able to battle and freestyle across genres such as Afro, Hip Hop, Amapiano and Kopala. He holds many awards such as Afrohouse Group Of The Year 2022 - *Zambia Dance Awards*
Flex has built his own brand under the name ‘The Vibe Maker’ and after attending his class and showcase you’ll see how he was granted this name.
We are excited to introduce, *Sílvia Sacur* 🇲🇿 to the Amazing Festival 2025.She began dancing at age 7, studying traditional Mozambican dances and contemporary ballet. Throughout her teenage years, she explored a wide range of styles, including rhythmic gymnastics, belly dance, samba, reggaeton, Brazilian funk, R&B, hip-hop, and Mozambican styles like marrabenta and pandza.At 19, she discovered ballroom dance, Argentine tango, salsa in line, and Cuban salsa. It’s a Movement. And it’s going to be Amaaaaaaaazing.
WHAT: We are a group of like-minded Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata (SBK) lovers, looking to have an Amaaaaaaaazing experience doing what we love most i.e. share connections through Afro-Latin dance; enjoy great music; site-see, and ultimately create unique experiences together as dance family. Note: This festival promises not to take on the conventional format of mainstream SBK events. Rather, to be a group experience seeking to elevate self and others through the concept of being Amaaaaaaaazing!
WHY: Having attended many festivals over the years, Jay realised most people attended events for their individual gain and unknowingly limited their experience as a result, but if they were encouraged to see the Amaaaaaaaazing in everyone, they would feel Amaaaaaaaazing themselves, and thus sub-consciously be moved and inspired to learn and grow as individuals through this greater connection with others... And so #NourishYourGreat! was born. Now the idea of being Amaaaaaaaazing is something that is a big part of Jay and those around him, and it is a very positive and powerful concept he is determined to continue indulging in with the world at large.

While other events have Artists, we only have Amaaaaaaaazing FRIENDS! We are inviting our friends to TEACH and DJ and PARTY all night long with, and for you, Our Family.
