Welcome to the nominations of the 2nd Audition of the Chililabombwe Entrepreneurship Awards Individuals are to be rewarded for their exceptional innovation and enterprise.
ABOUT THE CATEGORIES
1. Start-up Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award honors a newly emerged business venture that has a viable business model. The business must have been in existence for not more than 3 years and within this period, the business person will have identified and exploited market opportunity while building a solid foundation upon which their company/business venture can thrive.
2. Male Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award celebrates an individual who, through his hardwork and entrepreneurial skills has achieved remarkable business success.
3. Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award celebrates an individual who, through her hardwork and entrepreneurial skills has achieved remarkable business success.
4. Young Entrepreneur of the Year.
This award celebrates the successes scored by a promising entrepreneur (under the age of 25) who is making tremendous strides in the business environment. This entrepreneur will be a beacon of inspiration to business people irrespective of age and industry.
5. Chililabombwe Entrepreneur of the Year.
This is the topmost award as it celebrates the entrepreneur whose success is matched only by the essence of their entrepreneurial story that exhibits all of the hard work, determination, creativity and resilience required to rise above the rest.
NOMINATION STAGE
In this Stage, you all have an opportunity to nominate those that you feel have through entrepreneurship contributed significantly to the economic development and fit best in a particular category. After that, the team assigned to do the selection will then pick top three nominees based on the number of times they have been nominated.
HOW TO NOMINATE
1. To nominate, you will be asked to kindly go to the comment section and tag the person you feel has significantly contributed to the society. Remember to mention the category you are nominating them in.
2. Write a short bio of the person you have nominated. Mainly about their business Venture.
NOTE;
1. The top three nominees for each category will come from your nominations.
2. A person can be nominated in more than one category if they fit the description of the categories.
3. The 3 Nominees for each Category will then be Published on our page for the Commencement of Voting.
VOTING STAGE
This is the stage where the top three nominees in the various categories of which they will be subjected to a vote. Here is where you all will be accorded an opportunity to vote for the top three nominees of each category based on the bios/stories told of their achievements.
JUDGING STAGE
Final stage!! During this stage, the three nominees for each category are then subjected to the judges who will give their thoughts and through a background check on the individuals and decide who deserves to get the award in a given category.
