Run a combination of The Oxpecker Trail Run and Berg & Bush MTB trails and see the beauty of the Central Drakensberg countryside!

The Lynx Ultra Trail Run 2024 will take place on 20 April.

This is a great event to take part in you've missed out on entering the 2024 Oxpecker Trail Run.

Same organisers and same venue but with a unique challenge. Limited luxury tents included in the entry fee.

Thank you, Lynx runners!

Our first Lynx Ultra Trail Run and 25km Trail Run was a great success.

Thank you for embracing the run, the atmosphere and the spirit of running our bushveld trails. It was a pleasure to host you all and to put on a brand-new event.

We're already plotting for next year - stay fit, keep running and good luck with your running year ahead!

The Lynx Ultra Trail Run will be back in April 2024!

It was a beautiful day in the Central Drakensberg for our inaugural Lynx Ultra Trail Run and 25km Trail Run. Runners enjoyed pleasant conditions, unique bushveld trails, sublime KZN scenery, festive refreshment tables, a tube down the Tugela River to complete the run and then cake and champagne to finish the day.

We do things differently at the Lynx Ultra Trail Run. The final moments of our 50km and 25km trail runs involved runners hopping into a tube and floating serenely down the Tugela River to reach the finish. (Runners worried about big fish did have the option of doing a traditional run over the line too!)

Lynx Ultra Trail Run registration, Friday 21 April 2023 - our inaugural ultra trail run and 25km trail run from the Em'seni Race Village and set on the banks of the Tugela River. Runners enjoyed a dip in the river, sunset on our new deck and gentle games of frisbee as they prepared to tackle the trails.
