Standard Bank Black Mountain Challenge - Day1 BlackBeast Ultra 48k, Extreme 33k, Traverse 23k & also Day2 Maria Moroka 17k has been postponed to 28-29 October 2023 due to cable theft at Black Mountain Resort and Maria Moroka Wildlife Reserve from power stations. All entries will be postponed automatically. Hotel will also now undergo revamping. Alexandria Farm will also accommodate camping site, it will be the start venue for Traverse and the new Ultra race will have a check point at Alexandria where supporters can come wait for their families and friends. Entries are discounted until 31 December 2023. www.blackbeast.co.za

I'm planning a training group run to Black Mountain on Sunday 5 December from Alexandria to the Caves, then to highest point beacon and back. I will split the group in two, the fast group and then the hiking group that will go with me.
