The dates for the 2017 Tuna Challenge have been arranged so as to coincide with the 2017 St Francis Nautical Festival. The completion registration will take place on Tuesday the 25th of April with fishing from Wednesday the 26th to Sunday the 30th. Prize giving will be on Sunday the 30th . With the Nautical Festival being in full swing at the same time, there will be plenty entertainment for the whole family! For those requiring accommodation it may be a good idea to book early.

16h00 – 18h30 Boat registration
18h30 Blessing of the fleet
19h00 Skippers’ briefing
Boat auction

26th – 29th April 2017
6h15 Fishing (weather permitting)
17h30 Boats return and be within the harbour
18h00 – 19h00 lucky draw in club / braai fires

30th April 2017
6h15 Fishing (weather permitting)
17h00 Boats return and be within the harbour
19h15 prize giving & dinner

Dinner is included in the entry fee for all participants. Additional limited dinner tickets are available to purchase for family / guests.(Note: a maximum of 3 out of the 5 days allocated as fishing days will be fished).
