🌳🏍️ 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆... 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗰𝘆.

One of the most meaningful moments of our 28th St Lucia Rally was coming together to plant trees at the Simunye Tourism Information Centre in Khula Village.

This wasn't just about putting trees in the ground. These trees will one day form a natural living fence around the centre, helping to improve the facility whilst creating a greener, more welcoming space for visitors.

The Simunye Centre plays an important role in promoting local tourism, supporting small businesses, showcasing local culture and creating opportunities for the community. By planting these trees, our rally attendees have made a small contribution towards a much bigger vision of sustainable tourism and community empowerment.

A huge thank you to everyone who picked up a shovel, got their hands dirty and helped make a lasting difference. Together, we've left St Lucia with something that will continue to grow for many years to come. 💚🌱

As another incredible St Lucia Rally comes to an end, we would like to thank each and every one of you for joining us and making this weekend so special. From the rides and activities to the laughter, friendships and memories made along the way, it simply wouldn't be the same without all of you.

🚨 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝟮🚨

For those travelling to St Lucia via the N2 North, please be aware that there are currently roadworks between the Umfolozi Bridge and the Mtubatuba turn-off.

Traffic delays can be significant at times, with queues occasionally backing up all the way onto the bridge. Please allow extra travel time, be patient, and take extra care when travelling through the construction zone.

⚠️ 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 ⚠️

For those making their way to St Lucia, please take note of the following road conditions and travel with caution:

🏍️ 𝗡𝟮 𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗶
Traffic congestion can be heavy, particularly around the trucking area. Trucks do not always adhere to road rules, and vehicles are often parked along both sides of the N2. Please remain alert and exercise patience.

🏍️ 𝗡𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗢𝗳𝗳-𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗽
There are several deep potholes on the off-ramp. Reduce your speed and proceed carefully.

🏍️ 𝗘𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗼 - 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗳 - 𝗣𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲
Roadworks are still underway and conditions have not improved significantly. Please be aware of:
• Sudden changes in road surface levels between lanes
• Uneven road surfaces
• Large bumps that can be difficult to spot due to coal dust on the roadway

Additional potholes have been reported near the off-ramp and surrounding roads.
