Today, the Warriors had the privilege of visiting the Lethabo la Bana Foundation alongside the BBRU and Good Morning Angels. Witnessing the incredible work being done to support children in need and burn wound victims was truly inspiring.

As a club, we believe that rugby is about more than what happens on the field. It’s about community, compassion, and making a real difference in the lives of others.

We are proud to stand with those who dedicate their time and resources to bringing hope and healing to children who need it most.

Sibanye-Stillwater, in partnership with BBRU-Official and Jacaranda 94.2 Good Morning Angels, have pledged R100,000 to the Lethabo La Bana Foundation, which supports children who receive care at the paediatric wards of the Steve Biko Academic and Kalafong Hospitals.

The Lethabo La Bana Foundation, which aims to fill funding gaps at these two hospitals, will use the funds to provide care packs and burn wound dressings.

In addition, the Sibanye-Stillwater Warriors rugby club will be hosting a charity golf day in Mooinooi on Friday, 12 June 2026, to raise further funds for the Foundation. Any additional funds will contribute to the construction of a specialised wound care room and playroom at the Steve Biko Academic Hospital.

While our Warriors have a bye this weekend, the work doesn’t stop. The team is hard at work on the training field, sharpening their skills, building momentum, and preparing for the battle ahead.

All focus is now on our next challenge as we take on Potch Dorp on 13 June. Every session, every tackle, and every minute of preparation brings us one step closer to being ready for war.

Rest weekend? Yes.
Off weekend? Never.

After a hard-fought few weeks, the Warriors have an off weekends to rest, recover, and spend time with family and friends.

Recharge the batteries and get ready, because we’ll be back in action on 13 June when we take on Potch Dorp in what promises to be another exciting encounter.
