Why We Should Support Township Economy
Xolani decided to take his car to a carwash that is owned by Thabo, Thabo has employed Sbu to wash cars and also Thandi to cook pap and gravy for the Chisa nyama. Sbu gets R25 per car that he washes and normally washes over 10 cars per day on weekends. Sbu takes home R150 per day over weekends. He takes R50 and buys some Potatoes from Mam Tshabalala who sells vegetables at the corner. Mam Tshabalala takes the R50 she made from selling vegetables and gives it to her son so that he can go to an internet cafe and apply for jobs. The internet Cafe is owned by Buhle, Buhle has employed Lindiwe who helps her with assist clients. Lindiwe gets paid R90 a day and she took the R90 and bought amagwinya in the morning from Thobile. Thobile will take that R90 and buy flour from Xolani. Next weekend Xolani will take his car to the carwash again and the cycle continues. Lets circulate the money within our township.
Once the money leaves the township, someone will loose their job or go to be hungry. Let's support each other as kasi hustlers.
