All Black #645 Earle Kirton has today been named an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit. ππ½
Earle played 49 matches in the black jersey, including 13 Tests, and had a significant provincial career, playing over 100 matches for Otago. After retiring as a player, he continued to give back to the game, coaching Wellington to the 1986 NPC title, and was a national coach and selector for a number of years. π«±π½βπ«²πΎ
