Our condolences to the Fagan family. Gwen was a true living legend and inspiration to us all. May she rest in peace. Gwen, your passion, fine wit, friendship and dedication to preserving heritage sites and gardens will be sorely missed.

Seen here regaling the delighted audience with various rosy anecdotes during her visit to Bosky Dell on her last road trip visiting rose gardens in her 100th year!!!!! (It was apparently the first time she had ever worn a flower crown and she was absolutely thrilled with it - I managed to include a ‘Gwen Fagan’ rose when making it and this did not escape her notice.)
