Hello fellow music lovers 💜 🎶
It's the end of Maritzburg Musician's Club as we know it - for now! 🎸.For everything there is a season - and MMC has been going in and out of season for almost 40 years 🍁🍂🌱
This is not the first time MMC will be saying "so long and thanks for all the fish" 🐠 - and so we put it back into the hands of Maritzburg, as the current co-ordinator/mother of MMC will be blessed with a baby of her own to mother! 🤱

We would like to thank all the awesome musos for the sweet tunes throughout the years, and to the supporters - we wouldn't be here without you! Thank you for keeping live music alive and supported! 👏
It is thanks to supporters that we are able to enjoy live music locally, such as at Mith Hilton, Twist Productions, Emoyeni Guest Lodge, Music Revival KZN, Saki Pmb, La Casa - The Home Of Music, Legends Live Music Venue, TheCavern at Vans, Atasca PMB, Il Postino Pizzeria, Hexagon Theatre, Scoozi and many more - where you will find regular local live music entertainment to keep you satisfied! 🤟

If any keen supporters are willing to volunteer to take over the ropes by any means, it would be greatly appreciated - by our city ❤️ MMC has always been for the people - by the people 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Our last meeting will be next Tuesday - 28 November! Come along and celebrate the wonderful season it has been at MMC 🙌 - Also if any bands would like to play - please holla! 😄

'Change for Knysna'- now in progress. Launched at a local bar in my hometown , Pietermaritzburg with an amazing soul and beautiful friend - Tatum Holder

No fancy apps and bank accounts, I will be raising money in a tin can. My plan is to mission to Cape Town and then down the garden route, playing at several venues with various artists. The money collected will then be handed over to 'Eden be Needin'- This amazing group of humanitarians are heavily involved in the upliftment of the Knysna community after the devastating fires earlier this year.

There are several projects that they are busy with, the main objective being animal rehabilitation and re-forestation.

It is my responsibility as a human , citizen of planet earth to use whatever talents and skills have been given to me ,to improve or at least aim to improve the welfare of my people, planet and animals! To summarize the words of the great Swami Vivekananda and Nelson Mandela- If you have the ability , you should serve your country in every way possible, if you do not you are a traitor, having being 'educated' at the expense of the masses you do not pay even the least attention to them!.

I know next to nothing about animal and environmental sciences, I don't have set gig dates; a set plan of action or even a significant bank balance for security. What I do know, for a fact is that if your 'Why' is strong enough the universe provides and everything falls into place.

I encourage you all to join me on this adventure that I am about to embark on.

Hi all, looking for something to do next weekend? Summerhill Function Venue KZN in the New Hanover area is hosting an awesome lineup of local bands at their Mountain Chill Music Festival on Saturday 29 July. Come and support local talent and enjoy some time out at this hidden gem of a venue 😉
For the next 2 days tickets can be purchased directly through Summerhill at [email protected] at only R100 each! (camping included)
A great afternoon and evening of music entertainment for the whole family - kids under 10 free. Food and refreshments on sale. Firepits will be lit to keep us all toasty.
