Die volgende Philippolis Skou vind plaas op Vrydag en Saterdag, 30 en 31 Oktober 2026. Ons skou is al die jare gehou op die eerste naweek van November, maar daar is besluit om dit vroeër te hou onder meer omdat eksamens deesdae vroeër begin en skoliere dan nie maklik kan kom perd ry nie.

Meet Kiara Wolmarans, a passionate and determined 15-year-old equestrian from Bloemfontein, proudly representing Eunice High School.

Kiara has earned her place on the Junior 5-Gaited Protea Team, a milestone achieved through hard work, dedication, and countless hours in the saddle. She represents the Free State with pride, always giving her best for her province and her team.

Training at Crystal Anvil Stables under the expert guidance of Glenda Koen and assistant trainer Michiel Burger, Kiara continues to grow in skill and confidence.

She qualified for the team on her beloved horse “Here Comes the Dynamite” — a horse she chose long before she ever imagined pursuing equitation. Their unbreakable bond has been the heart of her journey and a key part of her success.

With her commitment, love for the sport, and a deep bond with her horses, Kiara is proudly flying the South African flag. 🇿🇦🐴

Philippolis Show 2025… what a weekend.

To every single person who rolled up their sleeves, baked a pancake, made a sosatie, cleaned a loo, poured a drink, parked a bakkie, shared a post, or simply showed up to cheer… thank you. Our little town does big things when we come together.

To the farmers who donated meat, the families who gave their time, the exhibitors who supported us, and the teams who worked quietly behind the scenes – you are the reason this show keeps growing and glowing every year.

A special thank you to our Sub-Union for the stables renovation, and to the NCape Sub-Union for the teamwork and cooperation. You truly went above and beyond.

And wow, what a year for the sheep section.
Our magnificent Merinos, world-class sheep shearing, and those brilliant sheep dogs work… it’s farming heritage in motion, and we’re so proud to see it shine here in Philippolis.

Philippolis doesn’t just host a show. We celebrate heritage, horses, hard work, and heart. And this year, you all made it magic.
