The 10th edition of the Marius Schoeman 7’s delivered another weekend of high-intensity rugby, incredible competition and memorable moments on the field.

⭐ Player of the Tournament: Cadynn Samuels – Paul Roos Gimnasium

🔥 A FINAL THAT WENT DOWN TO THE WIRE

The U17 Cup Final between Paul Roos Gimnasium and Garsfontein finished 19–19 after the initial playing time.

The match then went into sudden death, with three minutes on the clock and the first team to score taking the title. No points were scored during the three-minute period, meaning the team that had scored first in the match would be declared the winner.

That meant Paul Roos Gimnasium were crowned champions, winning 20–19! 🏆

Congratulations to every team, player and coach who made the 10th MS 7s a tournament to remember.

The U15s brought the heat on Day 1 of the Marius Schoeman 7’s, with three rounds of pool rugby completed across eight pools. 🔥

Paul Roos, Outeniqua, Strand, Oakdale, Paarl Boys, Paarl Gimnasium, Stellenberg and HTS Drostdy came out on top of their pools, setting themselves up for the knockout stages. 💪🏼

Now the pool games are behind us, and the Round of 16 awaits tomorrow from 08:00. The road to the finals starts here! 🏆

Day 1 of the Marius Schoeman 7’s delivered a full day of fast-paced, competitive rugby! 🔥

After three pool matches, Paul Roos, Paarl Gimnasium, Oakdale, HTS Drostdy, Stellenberg, Durbanville, Paarl Boys and Boland Landbou finished top of their respective pools. 👊🏼

With the Round of 16 kicking off at 08:00 tomorrow, the tournament now moves into the knockout stages, where every match brings the teams one step closer to the finals. 🏆

The pools are done. Now, it’s time for the playoffs! 🔥
