Tomorrow, we will be joining hundreds of entrepreneurs, business owners, and industry leaders at one of Cape Town's most exciting annual events — the Cape Town Business Summit and Expo, taking place on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
Now in its fourth year, the summit has firmly established itself as a must-attend fixture on the Western Cape's business calendar. Its mission is clear and inspiring: to create a one-stop platform for like-minded entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and collectively build a stronger economy. From SMMEs seeking funding to established business leaders looking to expand their networks, the event truly caters to every stage of the entrepreneurial journey.
This year's speaker lineup is exceptional. Attendees will hear from Vusi Thembekwayo, the globally renowned business speaker and investor, alongside Alderman James Vos, the City of Cape Town's Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Opportunities and Tourism. Other highlights include Ndiswa Bata, Group Managing Executive for Nedbank Business and Commercial Banking; Dr Nkosi Kumalo, GM for SME and Indirect Channels at MTN South Africa; Luvuyo Rani, Founder and CEO of Silulo Ulutho Technologies; and Rene Redelinghuys, Managing Director of Heart FM — among many other impressive voices from business, finance, and government.
Alongside the summit sessions, the Business Expo will showcase a wide range of small business exhibitors, fintech startups, funding providers, and innovative service offerings — making it a genuinely immersive experience for anyone serious about growing their business.
I'm looking forward to the networking, the insights, and the energy that this event always brings. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or a seasoned business leader, the Cape Town Business Summit is exactly the kind of gathering that reminds you why community and collaboration are at the heart of sustainable success.
