The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in collaboration with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, Mandela Bay Development Agency and Zantsi’s Showtime Productions is proud to present the ZIBONDIWE eGQ - Boxing Tournament 2026, a premier boxing showcase set to take place at our iconic stadium 🥊

The event will feature an exciting lineup of male and female professional bouts, including:
-A prestigious World Title Fight
-A Main Supporting Championship Bout
-Multiple undercard contests showcasing rising boxing stars

Featured participation from top Eastern Cape fighters, with a strong emphasis on athletes from the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.
This event forms part of Showtime Productions’ long-standing mission to revive boxing in the region and create sustainable pathways for future champions.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre invites all Grade 9 to 11 learners in Nelson Mandela Bay to apply for this year's Job Shadow programme.
Learners will spend time at participating businesses to watch, learn and experience what their chosen career is all about!
