2012 International Aquarium Congress The IAC has become the most important and prestigious event for the public aquarium industry, drawing practitioners and scientists from around the globe.

The IAC has been held in several countries, covering Europe, the Americas and Asia. It was most recently held in Shanghai, China, in 2008. 2012 marks the first year that the Congress will take place on African soil.
