Get ready for an unforgettable weekend of adventure in the heart of the Klein Karoo! The Ladismith Cheese 7Weekspoort Challenge returns to Ladismith, bringing together mountain bikers and trail runners for two days of pure grit, scenery, and good vibes.

Set at Karoo 62 Escapes along the iconic R62, this community-driven event offers something for everyone — from epic MTB routes (30km, 43km & 85km) to scenic trail runs (10km & 18km), plus fun runs for the whole family.

Expect rugged mountain passes, wide-open Karoo landscapes, and a festive race village atmosphere with great food, live entertainment, and local hospitality at its best.

Whether you're chasing a podium or just soaking up the experience, this is one weekend you don’t want to miss!

The Ladismith Cheese 7Weekspoort Challenge is one of the most scenic mountain bike experiences in the Klein Karoo. Riders take on the spectacular 7 Weekspoort Pass, a historic gravel road that winds its way through a dramatic sandstone gorge carved by the Huis River. Surrounded by towering cliffs, river crossings and the rugged beauty of the Swartberg foothills, the route offers a perfect blend of challenge and breathtaking scenery.

𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦!
We have added accommodation at Karoo 62 to the entry form and have booked out the entire venue for the 7Weekspoort Challenge. You can now book your accommodation at the same time as your entry.

We have moved away from the Rock Festival and added lekker live entertainment for Saturday night as well as a 10km Trail Run for Sunday morning. Change your event into an adventure weekend!
